Before surgery
Data from the 28 days before your operation are used to assess activity intensity, recurring daily patterns and exercise behaviour. Together, these form an individual preoperative reference against which postoperative change is measured.
Early recovery
The dip is the lowest recorded activity following the operation, expressed against the personalised baseline.
Recovery milestones
AfterSurg shows when everyday activity returns through recognised milestones, including the point at which it reaches the individual preoperative reference again.
Beyond baseline
Recovery can continue above the preoperative reference. Four measures describe the scale, consistency and duration of longer-term change.
